Acrylic mirror is not a mirror in the glass sense: it is a clear or tinted acrylic sheet with a reflective coating on the back, protected by a film and a lacquer. That construction decides everything a laser owner needs to know about it, because the face and the back are different materials and the beam meets them in a fixed order. What the construction means for the work

The reflective layer is on the back. A mirror sheet is clear acrylic with a coating applied to one face and then sealed. Engrave the coated side and the coating is what comes off; engrave the clear side and the beam passes through the acrylic first. Which face is up is not a preference, it is the difference between a clean reverse-engraved mirror and a ruined sheet, and the supplier's own product page is where the construction is described.
Reflection is a machine question first. A polished reflective surface in the bed of a machine that emits a beam is a hazard before it is a material, and the sensible order is to read the supplier's safety data sheet and the machine maker's guidance before the price.
